Rosh Hashanah was celebrated recently and for those of you who don’t know what that is, it’s the Jewish New Year. Many of us have been sensing a new season is upon us and with that, there are coming many open doors.
Open doors are generally a good thing because they represent opportunities, promotions, new beginnings, new relationships and Divine appointments but not every open door is from the Lord. We have to discern which doors are the right doors for us to walk through in this season.
When doors open before you, ask God for wisdom and discernment to know which door is the right door, which door is the wrong door for you at this time. When Jesus told Peter to cast his net on the other side, he had to make an adjustment in order to receive the blessing God had for him.
You may find yourself in a church where you’ve hit the glass ceiling, that is, you can’t go any further. You feel frustrated because you can’t fulfill what it is you believe God would have you to do. He may in that case move you to another church where doors will open to move you further along on the path to your purpose. The same may be true of a job or if you’re looking for a new relationship, it may be necessary to get off the beaten path and do something out of the ordinary that will put you in a position to meet that person. Only God knows the when and where, so be ready to accept an invitation or try something new and different that could bring your breakthrough.
With the open doors in this new season, just be careful not to move out of position so that you miss your blessing. Again, that will require prayer and discernment. My prayer is that you will find yourself in the right place at the right time to receive all God has for you and more.
Please send me your testimony when you get your breakthrough. I’ll be praying for you.
