Now It Shall Spring Forth

Have you ever planted a seed and wondered whether anything was ever going to come of it? Sometimes it’s like that with our faith. We get a promise from God. We water it by writing it down, bringing it to mind and encouraging ourselves with it when nothing seems to be happening. If we don’t give up, we will see God’s promise begin to spring forth in our lives. He can even do it long after you’ve given up on ever seeing it come to pass. Look at Abraham and Sarah in the Bible. God’s promise seemed so unlikely that it was a surprise to them when He actually did it.

In Isaiah 43:18-19, God is calling His people – and that includes you and me – out of the past and into a new season of fruitfulness and harvest. He’s saying in this passage of Scripture that it’s time to let go of the past. Stop dwelling on it. Stop allowing it to stop you from moving forward. In fact, He wants you to put it out of your mind completely. What happened happened. It is what it is. But now is the time to move forward.

Now is the time of harvest, where God is going to do what He said He would do. And He wants you to partner with Him to see it come to pass. Are you ready to take a step of faith to receive what He has promised? If not, seek God and ask Him to show you that next step. He will make a way where there is no way and He can even cause rivers in the desert, opening doors before you and ensuring you have everything you need to be successful in this new season of your life!
